Lasagna!!!!

If you come to my house, you will enjoy a delicious plate:
Lasagna.

I think this is the traditional dish in Christmas and Birthday´s party in
my family.

All of us, help to cook the lasagna together.

I want to tell you how to do it; First, start with the following in a
pot:


1 pound of sweet Italian sausage.
1 pound of ground beef.
1/2 cup of chopped onions.
2 cloves of garlic chopped.

Brown the ground beef, Italian sausage, onions and garlic in a pot until
they start to cook. It takes about 6 to 9 minutes to brown the meat. I like to
use an oven to cook this portion of the recipe. I use a medium low temperature
to brown the meat.

After, add the following:

1 can of crushed tomatoes.
2 cans of tomato sauce.
2 cans of tomato paste.
1/2 cup of water.

Stir this into the cooking meat.

Then, stir this ingredients into the sauce:

2 tablespoons of white sugar.
1 teaspoon of fennel seed.
2 teaspoons of fresh basil leaves chopped.
2 tablespoons of fresh italian parsley chopped.
1 teaspoon of italian seasoning.
1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper.

Cover the pot and let the meat sauce simmer on low heat for 1 hour and
30 minutes.

The lasagna noodles need to be soaked in hot tap water for 15 minutes,
while the noodles are soaking, you can make the cheese filling by putting the
following in a mixing bowl:

1 1/2 pound of ricotta cheese.
1/2 teaspoon of fresh grated nutmeg.

Grate the fresh nutmeg over the ricotta cheese.

Then, mix 1 egg and 2 tablespoon of fresh parsley chopped with a
spoon.

Now, we start building the lasagna layers:

Spread 2 cups of meat sauce on the bottom of a baking pan.
Remove your lasagna noodles out of the water bath. Shake water off wet
noodles.
Lay 6 noodles across the layer of sauce.
Spread half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the layer of
noodles.
Spread 1/2 pound of mozzarella cheese over the ricotta layer.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese over the mozzarella
layer.
Spread 2 cups of meat sauce over the cheese layer.
Lay down the next layer of noodles.
Spread the remaining ricotta mixture over noodles.
Spread the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses saving some cheese for the top
of the lasagna.
Put the last layer of meat sauce on the cheeses.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese on the top.
Cover the foil, bake in preheated oven at 200ºC for 20 minutes.
Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to cool approximately 15 minutes.
You can eat the lasagna with a cold coke or a juice.

*My old times*

When I was a child, I always used to ask to my parents everything, because I have wanted to know everything. Also when my parents wanted me to sing '' The Happy Birthday'', I always cried because they made me scare.

In vacations I never used to go to the dentist, because I thought that the dentist was a person that remove my teeth, and then, this would put me bad. Also my parents and grandparents told me never to do that the unknown persons told me.

And on Christmas my parents always used to put my presents under the tree. I will never forget this moment. It's my favorite of all. I always wrote a letter to ''Santa Clauss''asking him some presents to me. I remember that my mom made me sleep to gave me the presents.

That were my old times!

My best vacationwas when I went to my uncle's farm.

This day was wonderful becuase I've never been in a farm.

There I saw cows, pigs, dogs, cats, ducks, turtles and others animals.

I've never seen a pig, it was very funny, I think it was better saw a pig than a turtle.

One day I bothered my cousin and she said me: Don't bother me! but I didn't hear her, and becuase of that she throw me excrement of cow.

I think it was the wrost situation of my vacation. I cried all the day. Anybody never throw me that!

Finally I staied in the farm for three weeks. It was very funny!

I'll never forget this vacation.

**My Dreams and My Future**

I have always wanted to buy a mustang when I will be an adult, because it is a very beautiful car and I will need it when I´ll have my job.

Another place that I've always wanted to visit is New York because I want to know the general culture of this city. Also I have always wanted to learn how to drive, because I would like to transport by myself and without help, because I am a very independent person.

Finally I have always wanted to go to the moon in the future, because I want to know all of this big star; I think I will get a lot of things that the people dont know and I suposse that this adventure will be very interesting and funny.

I just hope that all of my dreams could come true because I have always wanted to tell this adventures to my grandchildren.

My Best Friend!! =D

My best friend Silvana is girl who is an excelent person.

I call her ''Aunt Rozma'' and she calls me ''Niece''.

She has long, straigh and black hair, she has brown eyes and

she is as tall as me.

She is very happy, outgoing, polite, humble, honest and organized
person. She dress proporly everyday.

She loves rock, pop, merengue,salsa, vallenato and reggaeton music.

She wants to be a periodist when she will be an adult.

In her free time she likes to listen to music, watch tv, go to the

supermarket, go to parties, doing cellphone calls and coming to my house.
She always tells me the things that happened to her. We have had a lot of adventures together.

I remember the day that I met her in a party,
this day was amazing. We didn't stop to talk. And since this day we go out together.

Her parents are very down to earth and they are very funny.

Her mother is very helpful and her father is very generous. This is an incredible family.

Finally I just hope to be her friend for ever. And I want her wishes come true.
